Today, the world of the cults is more and more expanding. There are so many people who turned into life gurus or people who are promoting their cultic philosophy in order to entice people to join their group. Do you ever wonder why these groups has become very successful in what they do? This article will discuss the reason why cults come very interesting for some to join. Cults are very wise in their recruitment effort. Cults are groups that attack the principle and beliefs in the biblical effort. And so they make their recruitment efforts in the personal lives of people.
The way to do this recruitment is that they invite those people who have no or little knowledge of the teaching of the Bible. They invite these people Bible studies, usually in-home Bible studies wherein they usually tamper and distort the real teaching of the bible. They do a little twisting just to promote their principle s and beliefs by also promoting their religious leader.
Those individuals who have no or little knowledge about the teachings f the Bible are usually the target of the cultists. Since these people have do not know much about the Bible, they are more prone to be conceived by the distorted facts by the cultists. Once a cultist find out that you are a strong and firm believer of your Christian religion and the teachings of the Bible, these cultists usually flees.
One of the reasons why people join cults is because of life transition. When one is suffering from the feeling of unstableness in his life, he or she seeks for something he or she thinks will stabilize the current situation. Divorce, marriage, a new job, a death in the family, attending college for the first time are some of a person’s biggest life change that make it great for cults to do their recruiting effort.
The cultist finds this time in a person life an opportunity entice them into their cult, what they do is to counsel them and focus on their personal lives. Once the cultist find that this person comes dependent in his advices, then the cultist takes this opportunity to involve this person to the cult himself. Since the person is very vulnerable at this time, he or she will have no chance to react and question since that he or she will also be very busy in doing the tasked duties and responsibilities of the cult.
